PRIVATE TUTORING POLICY
CANCELLATION OF SESSIONS BY CLIENT/STUDENT
The Client/Student may cancel tuition/sessions by giving at least 24 hours prior notice to the Tutor or Lingo Dice in which case no tuition fees will be incurred. Sessions not attended by the student without giving 24 hours prior notice to the Tutor or Lingo Dice shall be charged at the full rate.
All sessions are to be completed within a 30 calendar days time frame in accordance with the 1st-day sessions began. If sessions are canceled on the part of the client/student (within the 24-hour policy), a makeup session must be arranged within 7 days or those missed hours will be lost.
Fees are based upon the Student’s undertaking to attend all sessions as stipulated in the schedule and no discount or refunds shall be given in respect of sessions not attended by the Student.
CANCELLATION OF SESSIONS BY TUTOR OR LINGODICE
The Tutor or Lingodice may cancel sessions by giving 24 hours prior notice to the Client/Student in which case no fees shall be incurred. In this case, the Tutor shall reschedule the appointment at a time agreeable to both parties, failing which the Client/Student shall be refunded with such a missed lesson fee.
All sessions are to be completed within a 30 calendar days time-frame in accordance with the 1st-day sessions began. If sessions are canceled on the part of the tutor or Lingodice, a compensated session must be arranged within 7 calendar days, or those missed hours will be lost.
LATE ARRIVAL
Fees are calculated according to the times stipulated in the schedule and no adjustment shall be made for time lost because of late arrival by the Student. Students who arrive late will only be tutored for the remainder of the scheduled session. There will be no prolonged sessions.
Any lost time because of the late arrival of the Tutor shall be compensated for by extending a lesson by mutual agreement and by such amount of time that was lost.
NO-SHOW POLICY
If the Student is a no-show, he or she is still responsible for payment for the tutoring session. No discount or refunds shall be given in respect of sessions not attended by the Student.
Pay-per-session clients must present payment for the session in which he or she was a no-show and the following session in order for tutoring to continue.
TERMINATION AND REFUNDS:
This tutoring agreement may be terminated/changed by either party at any time by giving the other party (10) ten business days prior written notice.
If there is any remaining balance after the 10-day written notice period, remain balance will be refunded.
No discount or refunds shall be given in the event of termination of the agreement by the client/student without 10 business days prior notice. In the event that the agreement is terminated by the teacher without prior notice, the remaining balance will be refunded to the client/student.
If the student changes the learning package, the remaining balance will be used for the new package will be used, and the new package will take effect within 10 days of written notice.
OBLIGATIONS OF THE STUDENT
The Student undertakes to assist the Tutor in identifying problem areas in which the Student needs specific tutoring.
The Student agrees to be prepared for every session by having all materials, homework, etc. ready and available before the session starts.
The Student agrees that assignments, exercises, or homework form an integral part of tutoring and undertakes to complete such work timely.
OBLIGATIONS OF THE PARENT/GUARDIAN
The parent/guardian is responsible for initiating any communication with the tutor.
The parent/guardian is responsible for getting the student to the session on time.
The parent/guardian agrees to ensure that the student has completed all work assigned by the tutor within the timeframe given.
NO WARRANTIES
While we endeavor to provide the best educational services possible, the Tutor & Lingo Dice makes no promises or warranties with regards to a Student’s performance as a result of any tutoring provided. In no event shall our obligations, expressed or implied, to any customer or site user, exceed those obligations specifically noted herein.
RELAXATION OF TERMS
No relaxation, indulgence, waiver, or release by any party of any of the rights in terms of this agreement on one occasion shall prevent the subsequent enforcement of such rights and shall not be deemed to be a waiver of any subsequent breach of any of the terms.
AGREEMENT FOR PAYMENT
Payment shall be made through lingodice.com before the start of a tutoring session OR Payment shall be made weekly/monthly in advance.
WHOLE AGREEMENT
This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties with regard to the subject matter hereof and the parties waive the right to rely on any alleged expressed or implied provision not contained herein.
COURSES POLICY
Withdrawals, Cancellations, and Refunds:
If you enrolled in a course and choose to withdraw your enrollment within the time frames listed below, we will provide a refund of the percentage of the tuition you have paid as listed below, subject to the conditions below.

LATE ARRIVAL AND ABSENCE
The Student undertakes to attend all sessions on time as stipulated in the schedule. There will be no prolonged sessions for Students who arrive late.
In the event of absence, the student undertakes to complete the assignments.
If the Student withdraws during the course or stops attending, the course will not be extended, and the missed sessions will not be compensated in any way.
Sessions not attended by the student with or without prior notice are not compensated. Lingo dice doesn’t refund the fees or a part of it for sessions not attended by the Student.
